Evolves from Bulbasaur at level 16
Evolves into Venusaur at level 32

BTCs Verdict:

Ivysaur...can be really great...or really bad for its part in the game depending on how well you trained it and what moves you have taught it.
It doesn't have many particular strengths (I found) between Vermillion and Fushia. However, it can also be very useful if used defensively. Electricity, grass and poison won;t do much damage on your Ivysaur, but Ivysaur may not do much to them either. And with grass and poison, it is better to use physical moves against them with Ivysaur, however, its attack stat isn;t wonderful.
On the plus side, digletts cave is a great place to train Ivysaur. AND it can learn cut.~
